The wilderness retreat is part of Mungalli Falls, the only free-hold world heritage waterfall in Australia. Mungalli is one of the few areas in the Cairns Highlands that practically guarantees a platypus "spotting" in the wild! Other features are Glo-worms, horse-riding, abseiling, rafting, and the "misty mountains walking trails".
Mungalli comprises of a main restaurant area - Waterfall Cafe, which overlooks the top of the waterfall. The accommodation is a short stroll from the Cafe and offers exceptional levels of tranquillity. Wake up to the sounds of birds and the waterfall.
