Kuranda Scenic Railway - Kuranda Classic Experience

Experience two of the most popular tourist attractions in the Far North.

The original Kuranda Scenic Railway is a spectacular journey comprising unsurpassed views of World Heritage Listed rainforest, steep ravines and picturesque waterfalls within the Barron Gorge National Park. This famous railway winds its way through 15 hand carved tunnels, across the giant bridge over Stoney Creek Falls, past the spectacular Barron Falls and onto Kuranda, the village in the rainforest.

Leisurely explore Kuranda, the famous 'village in the rainforest'. There are rainforest walks, markets, cafes, restaurants, and galleries for you to visit.

Skyrail will take you on an amazing experience over Australia's World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest. Your Skyrail experience should take approximately 1 1/2 hours and includes spending time at the two rainforest mid-stations. Allow 20 minutes for each station, to enjoy Ranger guided boardwalk tours and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre, lookouts and historical displays.
