If you are thinking about taking the plunge and learning to dive, our 4 day PADI Open
Water dive course is a great option for you to become a certified scuba diver if you are
short on time. The adventure of staying out on the reef for two days and one night and
the one extra recreational dive provides you with a greater experience compared to
other 4 Day “land based” dive course options.
This dive course option consists of two days of theory and pool training then a 2 day 1
night liveaboard dive trip, which includes the opportunity of 5 dives.
Day 1 & 2 You will learn the basics of scuba diving, both classroom and pool, at our
modern, purpose built diver training centre in Cairns. Both dive training pools are heated
all year round for student comfort.
Day 3 & 4 You will spend out on the reef on one of our 3 multi million dollar live aboard
dive boats. You will have the opportunity to do 5 dives on a variety of our exclusive
Outer Reef dive sites. These dives consist of 4 training dives to complete your
certification, then 1 additional recreational dive to enjoy your new skills and gain some
experience.
On the night of day four, after your return from the reef you have the opportunity to join
the crew from your trip for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (Dinner at own cost)
