Fitzroy Island is a tropical paradise of rainforest and beaches surrounded by a reef system that forms part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Idyllic coral and white sandy beaches lead into the safe, sheltered waters, which are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and exploring this World Heritage Listed coral reef system at your own pace.
At Fitzroy Island, it is all about rainforest, beaches and high reaches, with just as much to explore on land as in the sea. Explore the bush walking tracks throughout the island, like the Lighthouse and Summit walks, with views all the way to the Barrier Reef. Trek to magic spots like Secret Garden and Nudey Beach, one of Far North Queensland's most iconic beaches.
Departing at 10am, the "Wet" Glass Bottom Boat Tour allows you to get up close and personal with the Great Barrier Reef with an opportunity to snorkel from the Glass Bottom Boat. The sheltered waters around Fitzroy Island are abound with soft coral and marine life.
Return ferry departs Fitzroy Island at 12:15PM (This service do not run during the months of February and March).
